“MISSONIHOME is known for creating its own style that reflects a celebration of life; our brand is an experience of happiness, excitement, beauty, creativity, style and elegance. We are inspired by the seasons of nature and we play with colour because life is more beautiful with colour.”
A whole new meaning has been brought to the phrase ‘living in the lap of luxury’; with the first ever residential MISSONIHOME in the world rising in Manila, through the 52-story Acqua Livingstone – the fourth of six condominium towers in the Acqua Private Residences project, developed in the Philippine capital by Century Properties Group, Inc.
There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that this project will sit as one of the most stylish residential properties in the world; what else could you expect from an Italian fashion house with prints and colours as iconic and vivid as those of Missoni?
The progressive style of Missoni has earned them acclaim globally from the fashion world for decades due its creativeness and ability to elevate knitwear to an artistic form.
In 1996 Rosita Missoni passed on the fashion reins to daughter Angela and focused on designing for MISSONIHOME, a creative extension of the Missoni aesthetic in furniture, home accessories, and interior design.
The property will consist of house functions rooms, business centre, an indoor and outdoor gym, Jacuzzi, a library and spa. The upper level is a social space dedicated to interaction and entertainment with an amphitheatre, lounge, DJ booth and dance floor, pool with swim up bar, and barbecue facilities. Tying these two levels together is a fanciful organic wire-mesh tree that winds its way up and connects to the mezzanine floor, where residents can enjoy surrounding views or enjoy a meal in the open-air dining area.
The designer residential space provides a Missoni lifestyle experience, a combination of art and function that completely redefines the condo living experience.
This Italian powerhouse based in Varese and founded in 1953 by Ottavio and Rosita Missoni, themselves, has stormed the fashion circuit for over half a century now with their kaleidoscopic knitwear and infamous chevrons, stripes, and geometrics. Their fearless and inventive use and mixtures of color, textiles, and patterns certainly, without fail, always sets the bar high for aesthetic appeal somehow marrying retro glamor with chic modernism in an unparalleled equation of distinction.
